    Sounds like the loader. Is one of the words, 'linux'?

    If so select Linux and press enter.

    If the screen is the one after that and it says either 'press escape for verbose mode' or has a list of things in this format:

    blahblahbalh [<status>]

    Then it's Linux booting.
