Control panel wont start

I am new to linux, finally found out the cause of it not installing and fixed it, however after I had it installed a few days Mandrake's control panel and its package manager wont start, they create the taskbar icon saying starting with the egg timer in KDE then they just dissapear after about 30 seconds without starting.

go into a terminal and type

mcc

and post any error output

if mcc command does nothing try:

su
[rootpassword]
mcc

and post the output

dylunio

[MttJocy]

Segmentation fault
