Help! I have installed an ATI Xpert 98 video card to run SVGAlib, since the onboard Intel 845 video isn't really supported (yep, I tried VESA). But when I disable the onboard video, I get a panic on boot (process: khelper). The installation of Mandrake 10.1 is flaky with only the ATI card, but I can install with the onboard and change the video driver to ATI and test it. I can even boot with the onboard video and change to the ATI video to run X. I just can't disable the onboard video in BIOS without crashing the boot...
Can anyone clue me in?
