newb question about open office
okay, i intsalled oo v1.14 in my home directory (don't need it globaly since i'm the only user on this box). how can i change the paths so that all my links in the k menu point to v1.14 and not 1.13. i checked which and found there is a file /usr/bin/ooffice that is a perl script that holds all the directory info. do i need to manually edit this file, or is there some sort of setup/ configuration that i run??

There is probably a similar script for the updated version in the directory you installed it. Make your symlink point to that one instead.
