Usb problem!
I receive an error when I plug in a usb device(something of IRQ 21). So I changed my bootloader settings to no apic and no local apic. With this the error went away, and my mouse works with usb 1. But I now I cannot enter “configuring your computer” and if I select to bootup in windows from my bootloader that also doesn’t work. So I changed it back. Can anyone please help me wth the usb issue cause I have a usb printer and a VIA onboard usb2 hub aswell?!

I've got it.
For any other user with the same problem, I snooped around and found a solution. As in a previous message I posted, Flatline said I should trun no apic on. That alone didn't work. BobBlingBang said I should edited out the ACPI=HT in /etc/lilo.conf which disables IRQ routing. With both of these, things seems to be in working order. Many thanks to Flatline and BobBlingBang.
