Hello, I've installed Linux Mandrake 10.1 and I don't know wheather I could use my modem USB Microcom Travel/S. Is it possible, if it is a software modem? I've downloaded "drivers", but it doesn't work. Thank you for help! Vlada

Have you checked for the existance of a /dev/ttyS# file, this corresponds to the modem. Also check this tutorial for more info on getting dialup modems to work under linux http://www.linuxforums.org/tutorials...rial-3100.html you can get linux supported drivers from www.linmodems.org
