    nOOb in lunix

    I am one sad person trying every OS that i can find my hands on

    How in the world do i install my sound card

    It is a old one:

    opti 16 audio isa

    Now i know some of u are going to say by a new one i say u can make anything work. If u try hard enough but i just can't seem to get it working and can't find files for my soundcard to work on mandrakelinux 10.1 so if there are some experts in here that hastime for a nOOb in learning linux plz will u help me

    mandrake should automaticially install your sound card drivers. if not read through your package list for select version and look for the alsa sound card configurator from redhat.
