In MDK ju just have to enter the command urpmi squid as root/su in a shell, can't remember where in RH9 you should install known RPM-packets. But as far as I recall, there is an admin interface in X(Gnome) that should help you out there.

how to enable the squid
need help on this one..
im using mandriva 2006 version..and just installed the squid from the package. but it wasn't running..how to enable the squid then?..pls help.
