Mandrake 10.1 and Solaris 10 PBR
I used to use this URL to install windows and Linux and Solaris without any problem on more than 10 PCs (not only one)
http://multiboot.solaris-x86.org/v/2.html
Now I have got on one of my PC with small HD (15GB), then I tried to install Linux Mandrake 10.1 official, and Solaris 10, without installing windows.
I partitioned the HD as:
1- 500 MB for /boot (Primary)
2- 7 GB for Solaris (Primary)
3- 7 GB fro Linux (Extended)
I followed the instruction of the link above, except I have not installed windows.
I installed Linux First and I use LILO as bootloader (on MBR).Then I installed Solaris later (I followed the instruction).
With Solaris bootmanager I can see Linux, but when I try to boot Linux it give me this error message:
"Bad PBR sig" = Bad Primary Boot Record
I can boot Solaris with out any problem.
What should I do to fix this problem.
