    Configure Error...

Whenever I try to install a new program using Konsole I come to a dead end with the message: "Configure: error: c++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fail sanity check". I first came across this when trying to configure Xine with "./configure" but it does it with everything that I try to compile or install, soz I'm new to the system and don't know how to refer to the things that I'm doing properly yet, just follow the directions :P.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Hi - Trying reading http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/topic-39702.html

If you are fairly new to Linux it's best to wait until you have more experience before you compile big packages from source. If you have your installation disk, just install Xine from the gui and follow the destructions
