Libdvdcss for mandrake 10.1
My IBM ThinkPad R30 came with a dvd driver on it. The dvd drive works with data dvd's (i.e. the mandrake 10.1 installer), but when I put a movie dvd in, it says that it is encrypted, and needs libdvdcss (sp, might be libcss or something) installed. What can i do?

Go to this site and find one that matches your system and dl it and install it.
http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/se...submit=Search+...
Just click on it and it should bring up your installer. How to know if you are a geek.

I didn't even think about the fact that you are using MDK.
Try
urpmi libdvdcss
that should work.
I have never used urpmi before, so I don't know if the syntax is correct or not.
But, if it is not, it should give you an error where you can find the correct syntax. How to know if you are a geek.
