10.1 Installation Issues
Description of the problem:
I decided to go ahead and try to install Mandrake 10.1 on my new hard drive today. I thought it would aid me on my Operating Systems course at college. I downloaded the 3 ISO files and burned them to CD.
Anyway I got to the installation screen and selected my language. It then proceeded saying that it was installing the SATA drivers. (See 1st screenshot.) I get the error message in the 3rd screenshot and it fails to install the drivers. It then gives me a list of all the possible drivers to install. I have taken a picture of every screen that I saw during the failed installation. If it helps, I have the SATA drivers on a floppy disk that came with my motherboard but as I am a complete newbie to linux I don't know any way install the drivers from the floppy.
Please help me to get Mandrake installed! here are all the pictures:

Computer Specs:
Athlon64 3000+
1GB Corsair RAM
120GB SATA hard drive (to install linux on)
200GB SATA hard drive (windows partition, data partition)

Well, I see that there's a list of drivers you're able to choose.. have you tried them?

Hmm.. too bad. What SATA hd is this? Try searching at G4L, use something like "<your hd model> SATA + linux install".
Hope it helps..serzsite.com.ar

It's a Maxtor DiamondMax 9 120GB.

Edit: I tried the search, nothing. Tried the Maxtor website and MSI (my motherboard manufacturer) and found nothing. THey seem to only have Windows drivers on their site.
