I called Linksys and they do not have a Linux driver.
If you can, I need detailed instructions how to make it work as I am very new to this type of stuff. I also need to know what drivers or utility I would need to make it work.
your help will be greatly appreciated.
thanks

I have a WMP54g wireless card from Linksys. That particular card uses a Broadcom chipset, which isn't supported by the usual Linux wireless drivers (due to Broadcom's refusal). You might have luck using a wrapper that allows you to load the MS Windows drivers in Linux. A free version is ndiswrapper. A commercial version is DriverLoader from Linuxant.
