Mandrake 10.1 Keyboard Issues
Hi,
I'm a total newbie to Linux and this forum. I had installed a Mandrake 7 on my HP Pavilion Desktop PC. The keyboard used to work fine for this version. Today I downloaded the Mandrake 10.1 ISO's burned the CD's for this distro and made a fresh install on my PC. The other OS that I have is Win XP.
So far I can use the keyboard which is a PS/2 keyboard (104 Keys) connected to the USB port, to type the root pwd and create a user name and pwd. After complete installation and reboot my keyboard stops responding/working. The mouse(PS/2) is working fine. I searched through most of the postings in the forum but couldnt find any solutions.
Can anyone pls help me ? Is this a common problem with Mandrake 10.1 ? Should I go for other Linux flavors ?
Any Linux out there pls shed some light on this....
Thanks in advance

Do you leave it plugged in or out during boot?

I leave both mouse and keyboard plugged in during boot.
