Wireless problems with MDK10.1
I have just got a Netgear WG311 v2 (Texas Instruments chipset) PCI card. According to the ndiswrapper page at sourceforge, i do not need to use NdisWrapper as the drivers for linux are already there (acx_pci acx100 card).
The problem is when I try to configure the Wireless card in MCC (hard drake says it is detected and some module is loaded), it asks to manually load a module and when I select the acx100 module, a few message boxes open up really rapidly and then close (before I have a chance to see what they say). It then proceeds to go back to the load driver screen.
I have recompiled my kernel to ensure that wireless support was enabled (as well as for educational purposes), but the problem still presists. However the wired lan still works fine.
Any help is appreciated.
