I need help using Kopete. Im signing on with my AIM screen name and when I click connect, its signs me on and loads my buddylist, but once my buddylist loads, it signs me off. It does it every time. I've tried changing some of the settings but it hasn't helped. Any ideas?

Have you tried removing it with urpmi and re-installing it? It might be a config error...
I dunno if this is possible, but I assume it is...DISTRO=Arch
