Firefox finally installed but no desktop icon to activate
I have finally got Mozilla Firefox to install but cannot get the program icon to activate when I drag it to the desktop nor can I get it to copy to the icon bar. Any help appreciated and once again, please pardon the novice.
Thanks

Normally it should be in your KDE-menu (Kicker). If not, search for it, and when you find it, right-click on the Kicker-icon, configure menu, make a new entry, and put the path to the app in (/urs/bin/something i suppose). That should do it. You can drag that to the desktop and to the icon bar.

Yes but you usually have to add %u after your path name.
