my laptop start in command mode only

    plz some one help quiqly.

after installing a vga driver for my laptop( clevo 2700c ), my laptop run only in command mode i can`t start gui.i tried "startx" command i received this message:
xinit :no sush file or directory (errno 2): no server "X" in path

use the --option, or make sure that /usr/X11R6/bin is in your path and that
"X" is a program or a link to the right type of server for your display. Possible server names include:
    Xorg X.org display

    xinit: server error

    what should i do.

    Add /usr/X11R6/bin to $PATH variable.
