process XFS taking up 70-90% CPU? Quirky behavior?
So the dual booting Linux box (mandrake 10.1 and a really bad OS) started acting very pecuiliar (screen flashes off before "welcome" screen and then comes back 3-10 seconds later... login sometimes very lengthly which is new, and logout to welcome screen takes unusually long). Then I notice the process XFS is now taking 70-90% of my CPU when before it wasn't anything huge to catch my eye. Where to start?

I also checked out Gnome, and the CPU is maxed out (Athlon 1800xp shouldn't be). The only thing I changed recently was some changes to users. Could that have done something? I just need a push in the right direction guys. Thanks
