Mandriva localhost

i just install Mandriva LE ...problem is...
install goes well, i don't put any password but on first boot i get this login window that says......"localhost login and of course it ask me for
Login name and password...i never put password during instalation, so what
should i put..or do
any advice.

What do you mean, you didn't setup any passwords? you should have setup atleast the root password during install.

What i suggest you do is, disconnect your Mandriva PC from any network and internet temproarily and type root as username and hit enter i.e. leave password field blank. Then goto the control center and setup a standard user with a password and add a root password to secure your machine.

sorry, forgat to tell u, when i get this problem is looks like a command pront.

ok, type root then press enter.
now once it says root@localhost ... type startx
