Mandrake 10.1 (64 Edition) sound icon gone!
I accidentally dragged the sound icon off of my toolbar (it was a little speaker in the system tray), and now I cannot get it back. I have a equalizer on there now, but I like that simple look of the speaker. I am using KDE currently.

See if you can start up Volume Control via the Menu and then exit using the X in the upper-right. That should leave an icon in the systray.

Yea, I cant find out how to to that. What menu/item do i use to open volume control.

Hrmm, is there nothing under Multimedia --> Audio or just plain Multimedia?
Actually, try running "kmix" from the terminal.
