Hello, I am having trouble changing the resolution on my mandrake 10.1 setup. I am using a 17" lcd monitor. the resolution on boot is 800x600, which i have changed using several methods xf86conf, xfdrake, mandrakelinux control center, xorgconfig etc. but the problem remains the same in that the changes are never saved. i get the resolution i am looking for upon logging out and back in again, but the changes are lost on reboot. I have spent at least a day on this and so far have found no-one else with the same problem or a solution. does anyone have any suggestions?
