is limited edition like an upgrade or is it like a full version that you can boot from for the installation,im tinkering around with suse right now, but i have the limited edition 3 disc that i might play with on another machine....thanks

It is a full version, so you should have no problem booting into it and installing.

The only reason they called it a limited edition is that Mandriva is moving to ayearly release cycle and Mandriva 2006 is to be released by September or thereabouts. hence the 2005 version is a "Limited" time release
