    Not sure about knowing which ones are up to date, I took the ones it automatically chose in the list.

    As you could only install disc 1 may explain why there isn't any compiler installed - think that stuffs on disc 2

    Hmm, I just noticed something funny. I poped in my second disc into my Main CDrom, the DVD rom (Drive D) and every time I tried to add it to the rpmdrake manager, it failed.. I put it in my second drive, the CDBurner (The E drive) and it all loaded up. Prehaps I should try reinstalling using my CD Burner instead of through the DVD burner?

    Update: I reinstalled Linux using a different CD drive and I got everything installed. Problem Solved! \m/
