Installation problem:Fails at loading sata drivers.
I was trying to install mandrake on my sisters computer since i think it's great for people new to linux. It boots up and starts to load some drivers, then a message comes up saying it's loading the nvidia sata drivers (nforce4 chipset) it then freezes there, i seen some message.
"Disabling IRQ #21"
I then booted the kernel with the noapic option, and the installation continued fine. However on the first boot it just freezes loading some usb thing, can't remember the exact name and for some reason her harddrive is now corrupted this was the same thing that happened on my pc aswell.
Any ideas to a fix? or some kinda work around. Thanks.
