I managed to get Mandriva 64_x86 CD to install on my Shuttle ST20G5 (it uses the Radeon Xpress 200 chipset with Uli Southbridge), by using linux noacpi.

I want to use the 32bit DVD though. So i tried to install it using Linux noacpi. But it just hangs. I can only assume it can't find the Uli SATA controller. I didn't think 64_x86 knew about different hardware to the 32bit DVD.

Has anyone tried to install the 32bit DVD on an Xpress 200 chipset mobo?

What should I do?
