Changing refresh rate before installing Mandriva Linux LE 2005

    Okay, so here's my problem:
I know I can Change the refresh rate once Mandriva is installed, but I need to do that before installing Mandriva, or else I can't see a thing on my screen (it can't have 60Hertz, it's too high for the old thing!).

Is there anything I can type in before the installation process starts?

Or do I have to borrow somebody else's screen, and use Drakconf to change the settings, and then replace the borrowed screen with mine. It works, but it's just annoying to do that.

I don't think this topic's been done before, I've tried to check.

Thanks so much for your help.

Just read carefully this Starter Guide...
It's about Mandriva 10.1 but you wil be able to find the answers you are searching for because
the installation process in Mandriva 10.2 is the same. There is a lot of images if you don't want to read simply browse....
As I clue I will add that there is a way to do this during the Post Installation Process when you receive a summary of the software configuration.
