hi, i use update feature in mandrake control center and use update source in ftp outside.
after the kernel installed, in my bootloader(lilo) listed more choices....
what's it mean?...

It means that you can choose to boot the first kenel (the one that you used when you installed the second) or you can use the second one. Both options are listed because you don't want to remove the option to boot the old kernel before you know that the new one boots and works fine. If your newly installed kernel works you can remove the old-kernel option from /etc/lilo.conf and then run
to update LILO.Code:/sbin/lilo
