Mandriva Modem Help
Hi all. I'm new to this site and somewhat new to Linux. I recently installed a copy of Mandriva LE2005 and I've ran into modem trouble. I have a Zoom serial external modem that works fine with Knoppix, but after I installed Mandriva it went on the fritz. When I try to setup an internet connection, Mandriva sees my modem and will dial my isp. After the handshake, there's a long pause and then I get a message stating that the connection cannot go through and my modem will not hang up. Has anyone else had the same trouble as I? I really like the look and feel of Mandriva and would like to keep it so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thank you!
