did you do modprobe ndiswrapper?
also what does
give you?Code:tail -n 50 /var/log/messages
the -n 50 says to display last 50 lines of this log. it might shed some light on why ndiswrapper isn't working.Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.

not to hijack this thread, but i am having problems installing ndiswrapper 1.2
i am also trying to get the wpc11 linksys card working to no avail. i am in the same boat, i can't get online with my linux laptop. i am also a big linux noob. i have been reading alot and maybe i am just not getting it.
i have a toshiba tecra 8100, attempting to run FedoreC4, i can't seem to get a linksys WPC11 wireless pc card to work. i have the ndiswrapper-1.2 and linux-wlan-ng-0.1.14-pre1 drivers for the actuall card..
lost and about to just install winbloz..but can't bring myself to just give up

easiest way to install ndiswrapper is to use FC4's package manager/software updater. It is most likely that the ndiswrapper program is available on the cd/dvd you used to install FC4.
Once that is done, make sure you insstall wireless-tools and the kernel sources and follow the instructions given before.Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.
