    snd-atiixp hangs Mandrake boot

    OK fellers looky what I found......
    I cannot get the system to boot with the `prescribed` snd ati ixp sound driver. I can load any other driver, get failed to load msg, not have sound and use the box but not what I'm supposed to be using.

    solved

    Went to the ASLA site to get the 1.0.9b drivers. Did the ./configure make make install thing and all seemed right with the world!
