unabel to install samba in mandrake 10.2

hello:
when i try to install samba from the package installer ui
I get the following


samba-winbind coflicts with samba31-winbind-3.1.0-4mdk samba-client <=
3.0.11-lmkd confilcts with mount-cifs-3.0.13-2mdk


I unstalled mount-cifs-3.0.13-2mkd and I still get the same message.


any solution?

the first line of error messages seems to suggest that there's another version of samba in conflict with the one you are attempting to install - have you tried to install it in the past? If so, it's probably worth going through whatever removal process corresponds with that method of installation, and see if there is any reference to samba at all, then try again...

I may be completely wrong (I'm beginning to think of puttingthat in my sig...), but that's how it looks from here.
