    Complete newbie needs help


    Hello, I am completely new to linux but thought id give it a go after reading about it, i am using mandrake 10.1 and could do with all the help i can get, can anyone suggest a good internet based or downloadabe idiots guide many thanks

    Most useful too, my favorite table of program equivalents (windows -> Linux)

    Thats a classic. Its a shame the list hasnt been updated since 2003...
    If I had a webspace, Id surely take the time to make one up-to-date.
