    mandrakelinux 10.1 mouse not working


    I have just installed mandrake three times configuring everything manually and every time i boot the mouse is frozen and have to use the keyboard to navigate is there a solution or do I just load another distro

    Well, clearly something's not right.
    It could be that your CD is corrupted somehow (bad burn).
    It could be that Mandrake 10.1 has trouble recognizing your hardware.

    I'd try either reburning the install CD at the slowest speed (2x, for example) or getting a more up-to-date version of Mandriva.
