10.1 FREE Support nVIDIA and others?

Does this mean that I cannot use my 6800 GT with it? Or does it mean that I have to install them all on my own?

As it's the free version it doesn't include non open source stuff. Or summat like that. So yes, you have to install the driver yourself.

Most (all?) of those "extra" that are only in the Mandrake commercial versions can be downloaded for free and installed by yourself. I purchased the commercial version to save me the time and pain of doing so.... and eventually to support their work.
You can go get the Nvidia driver for linux on www.nvidia.com and install it yourself.
