    Why do you want to upgrade? The boys at Mandriva included the present KDE because that's what works best with what they are offering. There couldn't possibly be enough of a difference between 3.3. and 3.4 to put up with all the aggravation you may encounter while trying to make it work. I'd stick with 3.3 since that is what is included. I think it is best to trust the distro manager's decisions over my own in such instances...
