    if lsusb shows that your wireless usb card is present, and ndiswrapper says that it is configured, but iwconfig doesn't show it. From this i am guesing the problem lies either in the wireless-tools package in wheich I would suggest that you contact the makers of the wireless-tools package for more info, or if you brought the packaged version of mandrake, then i would suggest that you contact Mandrake for support.

    Other than that, the only thing i can think of is if you want both cards to work, try a different distro.

    ill do my best to track down the wireless tools package people seeing as how mandrake's site is under construction for now so i guess ill either have to wait untill everything sorts its self out or try this one thing i forgot about untill just now and that was driverloader that program ive used before and had success so i ll think ill give that a try and see what happens oh what other distro's do you suggest


    i got the other one of my lights to come on totalling two out of two so thats a start the thing is is getting it to come online
