    "Fatal error finishing initialization" during Mandrake 10.1 install! Please help!

    Hello,

    This is my second time installing Mandrake 10.1 on this system. I had it installed once, and I remember the installation going reasonably well and easily. I then installed PCLinuxOS over my Mandrake install and messed around with that for awhile. Now I'm ready to switch back to Mandrake but I can't make the installation work. I've downloaded the 3 installation iso images and burned them all to CD. When I try to install the sequence boots up like it should but I get the above error before I really do anything. I haven't changed anything about my system drastically since then so I see no reason why it shouldn't work. Any ideas on how I could get my installation completed? Thanks for any help you can offer.
