    mandrake 10.1 x server wont start

    i installed mandrake 10.1 (cant install mandriva - don't ask) it started up a shell when i booted and i didn't install disk 4 which apparently has kde so im assuming i have gnome, etc. no prob ill just download kde. but when i tried to start the x server it says something is incomplete in /etc/X11/xorg.conf. how can i fix this?

    X server problem.

    Hi, if you want my epinion have to reinstall it and when you are done at the end of installation configure your VGA (select the VGA from a list ) and the resolution of your scren set it to low like 800x600.
