a weird problem from n00b
hi guys, i have an odd problem: i installed mandrake 10.1 a few days ago and it worked fine at first glance. but when i connect the flash disc (removeable) sometimes konqueror stops working (for example when i press on 'Home', the icon 'starting konqueror' appears on the task bar but 'home' never opens) to make it work fine i have to reboot the computer (although konqueror stops responding i can do what i need to do with the terminal). moreover sometimes system totally halts (crashes?!) and the only thing lefts to do is rebooting. what can i do??
any help will be appreciated

This is a known issue that I've seen before in this Forum. Unfortunately, I don't recall how it was fixed.
Try searching the forum for that issue, or checking Mandriva's Bugzilla. But know that it's not your fault.

Try using update to fix this. Had same problems, but switched back to MDK 10.0 BEFORE I read about it.
