    Problem playing sound from CD

    Sound plays fine when I play a movie with Kaffeine. But when I try to play a CD with KsCD, while it shows me that the CD is read, no sound at all. I played with mixer but that didn't work. How can I make it play? I think music CDs are written in RAW format. Does KsCD needs any codecs for this?

    If you try playing the CD with kaffeine it should work. To play with KsCD you'll have to have a cable running between the soundcard/onboard audio and the cd drive.

    OK I have also tried to play some MP3 with amaroK but I couldn't. AmaroK seemed to work but again no sound.
