Newb trying to get wireless NIC working
I just installed Mandriva 2006, but I use a TRENDnet TEW-423PI Wireless NIC, which on thier website they say it dont support Linux. Now, such a common NIC, someone has to have found a way to get it to work. So I searched around and found refrences to something called 'ndiswrapper' which some guy was saying he got the same NIC to work.

I really want to learn to use linux, but I dont want to have to restart and boot into windows everytime I want to use the net (to learn to use linux). I do have a normal NIC in the system, but I really dont want RJ45 running across my apartment to my router in the other room.
