    Trouble installing Mandrake Linux

    Hello, new to linux.. I am sick of windows and ready for a change. However I am having some problems installing. I downloaded the ISOs and burnt them normally, the CDs seem to work fine and the install program does load when I boot. It goes to the USB screen, then to the loading program screen, but only makes it about halfway through before giving me an "unexpected error" and then closing. Is this a problem someone has encountered before? If so what did you do? Thanks alot.

    I might just be a problem with the cds, it happened to me, I used some really bad cr-rw's from Office Depot, I had to burn them like 3 times each before it worked.
    Also do a md5check to confirm that you got the isos are ok.
