I downloaded and installed Mandrake 10.1 from here, choosing the i586 Mandrake 10.1 Official (Release 2004-12-06) Install DVD (2041MB).
The main menu has 'PowerPack' written along the side of it. Does this mean I've got the PowerPack version, for free? Perhaps Mandrake made it a free version? Anyone know about this?

You should be fine. linuxiso is a reputable site, it's more likely MDR simply didn't feel the need to remove that stuff from the DVD and instead removed the software. You'll know for sure if you have software like Acrobat Reader and Realplayer on the DVD.
