Hello. I have installed Linux Mandrake 10.1 and I can't start KDE3.2 System as root user, but I can start as other user.
What I have todo to solve (correct?) ...

KDE is Down

hmm.. why would you want to logon as root. You can do all that root can in your user account with the

JaRaEeZ is right, you don't need to login as root. But still if you want to do that you have to go in the Mandrake Control Center/System/Display manager and chose "GDM" then exit the Control Center and go to "Start/System/Configuration/Boot and Init/GDM Configurator" and in the "Security" tab make a tick on the first line (allow root ...) !
