    Converting from Windows, having trouble with multimonitor on my laptop...

    Hello all,

    I've been actively trying to make the complete switch to Linux for about a month now with various different attempts, and I'm hoping that since I finally found this forum I may be able to complete the jump. The only thing really holding me back right now is the ability to get multiple monitors running on my laptop.

    I've got a Dell Latitude 640C with Mandriva 2005 Limited installed but I can't figure out how to get both monitors turned into one giant desktop and I haven't found a good walkthrough online just yet. If anybody could help me out with this it will probably finalize my conversion.

    Google is your friend, I googled "Using Mandriva Linux with multiple monitors" and came up with this and this. Those settings should be in "Configure Display". Hope this helps.
