    Canon printer compatabilty problems

    If anyone has a Canon Pixma ip2000 usb printer that they got to work correctly, please tell me how. The color mode sucks and has lines going through mainly the red shaded colors. Black & white colors aren't a problem. Jeez, I'd hate to but another color printer espicially for linux, but I'm not going back to windoze.

    You might like to look at this. I use a cheap Canon, and the print quality is adequate rather than very good. It depends on whether or not someone has written a driver for the model you are using. Sometimes - even if there is a driver - it won't completely support every feature.

    Mine is an S500 btw. It's a colour model.
