Updating KDE - what to choose
I have KDE 3.4 and I want to upgrade it to KDE 3.5. I first updated the package list in Synaptic, but I do not know which packages to choose. Can this upgrade be done automatically, and if not, which packages I need to mark for update?
Last night I changed filtering in Synaptic to show pachages by group, and chose all packages from KDE graphics folder. But after that I saw that the list of packages had cca 300MB!!! Is this OK? Does KDE updates regularly takes so much megabytes?

Go here and scroll about halfway down on the page and you'll see the KDE package groups and their compressed filesizes: http://kde.org/info/3.5.php
Go here and click on the links on the far left of the page to see what apps are included in each package group: http://docs.kde.org/

That is for updating through urpmi. It appears though that some had some problems so you may want to look into it further.
