    Networking problems

Ok, i just cleared out my old server of slackware and decided to put mandriva on it, i got the FTP Server running and the Teamspeak server running..

The server can browse the internet, download files, ping itself, etc.. but as soon as i try to connect to it, nothing happens, i cant even get a response on the ping.

Ive flushed the iptables file but that didnt help, not sure on what else to do.

If Slackware was working why did you change it? I'd just put it back the way it was. We use Slackware as an mp3 enccoder/server and it runs steady as a rock, day in and day out without problems, so I'm all for Slackware as a server.

It had an OLD OLD build of slackware and figured id Try mandriva instead of just upgrading slackware again -- that was a mistake.
