    Mandriva2006 and gateway notebook 8510gz

    Hi friends
    I installed mandrive 2006, on my Gateway 8510gz laptop. Installation goes fine, but when it reboots after the installation, it fails to start x server.

    There is no graphical interface.

    Pl suggest what to do.

    Do you mean it dumps you to a login prompt, or it returns with an error?
